It might seem incredible to know that the two pillars of Malayalam cinema, Mammootty and Mohanlal have acted together in 54 movies. During the 80s there was nothing much special when the duo came together in a movie. Recently in an interview Mohanlal said that whenever they acted together, it was interesting. He said that there was no urge to be better than the other, but only a healthy competition which enabled both of them to be good.
