Sharing his strong opinion about Mammootty, Innocent began ” When Mammootty began his carrer as hero, I was an actor and a producer. He is a well informed person on almost all the subjects and present it well. This made a strong relation between us. He used to recommend me to some films which he felt I would be apt for the role. He suggested me to do the character ‘Thomman’ (later Rajan. P.Dev did it) in the movie ‘ Thommanum Makkalum’ where he did the lead role. As I was with another project or so, I couldn’t make it. Later when I saw the movie, I felt he was absolutely right.

I did many characters following his suggestion like his father’s role in ‘Vesham’, in Kottayam Kunjachan etc. Apart from a director’s viewpoint, Mammootty has a calculation in the choice of an apt person for a role. Every Time it proves to be true. He has this calculation in everything. So I often felt that he is the right person to make apt decision. So I used to seek his opinion in major issues inside the organisation. He shared wise and judicial decisions. It was because he is not only a best actor but also an eminent advocate” says Innocent.
