It is has pain relieving qualities and can ease period cramps as well. You can peel and slice a fresh piece of ginger, boil it for a few minutes, strain it, and consume it warm 2 to 3 times a day. You can add honey for better taste.

3. Fennel Seeds
Fennel seeds help regulate your periods by regulating hormonal imbalances. It also has antispasmodic properties that help reduce the pain felt during your periods. You can soak 2 tablespoons of fennel seeds in water overnight, strain it, and drink 2 to 3 cups of the decoction until you get your periods.

4. Fenugreek Seeds
Fenugreek seeds can balance the irregularities in hormones that cause a delay in periods. Soak fenugreek seeds overnight, strain it, and drink it to regularize your period.

5. Cinnamon
Menstrual irregularity can also be caused by insulin imbalance. Cinnamon has hydroxychalcone which helps regulate insulin in the body and, hence, regulates your periods. You can boil cinnamon in water and consume it as tea on a regular basis.
