How mouth wash can be used for Dandruff treatment

Do you have a bad case of dandruff fall? There is no need to go shopping for dandruff shampoos. They might be injurious to your scalp and can lead to hair fall if used excessively. Here is a way how you can use your simple mouthwash to tackle your dandruff problem and get smooth hair.

Listerine was actually created in 1879 by a doctor in Missouri and used as a powerful surgical antiseptic for dentists. In the 1930’s and ‘40s, one its original purposes was also to fight dandruff. Listerine fights fungus, and one of the most common cause of dandruff is an overabundance of fungus.
To treat a bad case of dandruff, wash your hair with your regular shampoo, then rinse with an alcohol-based mouthwash. Mouthwash’s anti-fungal properties help prevent dandruff-causing yeast from growing.

You will need
– Water
– Listerine Mouthwash
– Spray bottle (optional)

Mix 2 parts water with 1 part Listerine. After you shampoo, spray or pour the solution onto your scalp, massage in well, and let sit for 30 minutes before rinsing with water.
