3. Pregnancy Risk.
With any type of birth control, there is always the risk of unplanned pregnancy. Planned parenthood states that the two of every 100 women whose partners used Condoms became pregnant even when they were used properly.
4. Not effective against all sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Planned parenthood notes that Condoms are highly effective against HIV and reduces risk of syphilis, chlamydia, gonorrhoea and HPV. However they do not afford protection against STDs that affect the outer layer of skin.
5. Partner Resistance.
Some men claim they experience a loss in sensation while using Condoms, find them unromantic or take offense at being asked to wear them.
