After voice calls, Whats App has finally started rolling out the much-awaited video calling feature to its users. Some users have reportedly received Whats App video calling feature on their smartphones. However, only Windows Phone user can try out the new video calling feature on Whats App. The feature hasn’t been rolled on Android or iOS.
To make a video call, users simply need to click on the calling button and choose between ‘Voice’ and ‘Video’ calling options. The option also allows users to change from front camera to rear camera and mute the call. In addition, users would get notified when they miss a call. To call back, they can tap on the same menu.
If you happen to own a Windows Phone, you can try re-installing Whats App on your device to check out the new feature. With the new addition, when you click on the call button, both Video and Voice call options are offered. You can also swap between the front and rear cameras during the video call. You can also mute audio.
With over 1 billion monthly active users, Whats App is the leading chat app across the globe.
